The March 11, 2023 meeting of the Philipsburg Amateur Radio Association was called to order by president Darren Dixon at 12:05 pm in the second-floor meeting room of American Legion Post #437 in Philipsburg PA.

Discrepancy Noted by Secretary While Preparing the Minutes
At the start of the meeting, president Darren Dixon stated that the current balance was $2022.43, but also expressed some uncertainty about whether that figure was correct. It appears that this figure was NOT correct. After depositing a $20 membership fee on March 14, 2023, three days after the March meeting, the secretary received a bank receipt indicating that the previous balance was $2240.71 and the new balance was $2260.71. This confirms the accuracy of the figures listed above.
Action
A motion was made to authorize the EmComm coordinators (Bob, Darren, and Scott) to purchase radios, coax cable, and other equipment for the EmComm station using up to 100% of the $1000 grant received from Philipsburg Borough for that purpose. The motion was approved by a unanimous vote.
