Please join us on Saturday, August 13 for the annual PARA picnic at the Snyder residence in Allport.
If navigating with GPS, the address is: 114 Meadow Lark Rd, Morrisdale PA 16858. Please contact Bob if you need directions.
The picnic will get underway around 6:00 pm and run until whenever.
What we will provide:
- Dining canopies with tables and chairs (In the event of rain, we can move the picnic indoors.)
- AC power for crock pots
- Soft drinks
- Ice
- Plates, cups, flatware, & napkins
- Yard games
- A bonfire and the fixin’s for s’mores
What you can bring:
- A covered dish or other food item(s) (see what others are bringing in the list below)
- Lawn chairs
- Jackets
- BYOB (if you wish)
Darren is planning to arrive early to set up his HF rig and antenna. Other members are welcome to bring their own rigs and join in the fun. There are numerous tall trees to support wire antennas.
The people contributing meat, buns, and beverages will need to know how many people are coming. If you are planning to attend, please contact Bob on or before August 6 to let him know the number of persons in your party and what food item(s) you’re planning to bring.
