The PARA EmComm Team participated in a nationwide Simulated Emergency Test (SET) that was scheduled by the ARRL for October 7-8, 2023. Our participation was limited to a three-hour period from 9:00 am until noon on Saturday, Oct 7. We interacted with other amateur groups who activated stations at the Clearfield and Centre County Emergency Operations Centers (EOCs), the National Weather Service office in State College, and the State College Red Cross office.
